The tyrosine-silanol complex (Tyrosilane®), which is patented and used in Kosmida speciality dermatological sun products, promotes the development of a rapid, more intense and longer lasting tan.

The compound is the result of the condensation of a silanol molecule with one of acetyl-tyrosine, an activator of natural melanogenesis that stimulates and increases the quantity of melanin produced by the melanocytes.

Tyrosilane® therefore shows a unique and surprising ability to activate cell cooperation between cells of the epidermal population in response to UV photoinduced stress, and for this reason it is a good technological ingredient to use in sun products since it protects against erythema.
