An infant's skin needs constant care and protection because, like a tender bud, it must grow stronger and more robust. It has a finer stratum corneum, immature sebaceous secretions and many soft, deep skin folds.
Paidenia® Emulsion with continuous lipophilic phase can be used on the genital folds of the perianal, perineal area and on the inside of babies' thighs. It is a homogeneous and easily applied cream with immediate soothing, anti-eczema activity, which is useful for both treating and preventing nappy rash.
It effectively counters the irritating action of urine and faeces, which may remain in contact with the skin of infants, even for long periods.
It protects the delicate hydrolipid barrier from maceration without however inhibiting the right level of transpiration.
Improvement is seen very quickly, together with a rapid remission of irritation: a reduction in erythema, redness and fissuring of the skin. |

| Silanol mannuronate |
Mannuronic acid complexed with organic silicon exerts visible anti-irritant activity based on the rapid ability to prevent the deep-down spread of inflammation, which remains confined to the epidermis where it is resolved quickly. |
| Zinc oxide with rice starch |
Zinc oxide, present in a low concentration, succeeds in exerting an anti-eczema action without thickening the preparation, thanks also to the rice starch that promotes a fine dispersion in the essential fatty acids of the excipients. |
| Omega-3 oil |
An essential fatty acid with a high number of unsaturated bonds, which is important for homeostasis of the dermal-epidermal barrier. |
| Sweet almod oil |
Extracted from the cold pressing of sweet almonds, this rich in unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids natural triglyceride, has a moisturizing and softening elevated action. |
| Chamomile |
Softening, soothing and anti redness effect for sensitive and easily irritated skin. |
| Boswellia serrata |
This contains abundant boswellic acids with anti-eczema properties, which demonstrate positive effects on erythema and itching, while regulating epidermal maturation to the extent that the desquamation is visibly reduced. |
| Aloe vera |
It has healing properties on ulcerative skin lesions that may be caused either by therapeutic radiation or by sun exposure. It plays lenitive function in case of dermatitis, dry and chapped skin. |

After cleansing delicately, apply a generous layer of cream on the areas affected by irritations and redness.
Repeat the application after each nappy change.
